topic Why is there no help for the banding problem of the Canon inkjets? I will not buy another Canon. in Desktop Inkjet Printers

I have tried all the suggestions of forum members and elsewhere on line. Canon needs to solve this problem before I consider ever buying another Canon printer. It almost seems like the drive feed slips once on every roller rotation. Is there a possible drive problem? A broken tooth on a drive gear? Or something jammed in one tooth? How do I access the drive mechanism for the print roller?
