topic Exit from the service menu? (i series & early iP series) in Desktop Inkjet Printers

How do you exit out of the service menu after you run a eprom printout? There is nothing in the iP4300/4500 service manual, only how to enter which is wrong on two counts.
Why Canon won't make the page count available when a nozzle check is done is beyond me. Or is it because they don't want the customer to know just how few pages actually are printer with their carts?

You should know by now, one would never get an answer to that type of question from the manufacture. Unless you get lucky finding a shop that works on these and someone who would tell you.
