Pixma MX410- won't print unless I keep changing print color

I can't print anynore with my Canon MX 410 unless I keep changing the "Print Color" back and forth between Black and Color I am using Windows 7 and trying to print with Google Chrome

Check to make sure that you have adequate levels of ink available in both cartridge slots.

Have plenty of ink in both cartridges!
