    <description>&lt;P&gt;Right away- out of the box! &amp;nbsp;I am getting this error after installing ink wells. &amp;nbsp;They are all seated properly and I see no paper in the tracks.....but the cartridge carrier will not move back into the open so any lights show as on or off and so I can remove and re-seat the ink wells! &amp;nbsp;NOW...JUST WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? &amp;nbsp;I need a printer doctor ASAP!!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello BrammyT!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is what an Error Code 5100 means:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Printer error has occurred.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;lt;Action&amp;gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Cancel printing, turn off the machine, then confirm the following.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Confirm that there are no materials (e.g. the protective material or jammed paper) that is preventing the print head holder from moving. If any, remove the materials.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Confirm that the ink tanks are installed properly. Push down the ink tanks until they click into places.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;After confirming the conditions above, turn on the machine again.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;If the problem is not resolved, &lt;FONT color="#0000FF"&gt;&lt;A href="http://Canon.us/ContactCF" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;U&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="stc"&gt;Contact Support.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>Stephen, thank you for your response, but I already read your advice in the manual and it didn't change anything. I was hoping to find a resolution to a problem that is preventing me from printing my first page with a new Canon printer!</description>
