topic MX922 LAN failure in Desktop Inkjet Printers

Printer icon on iMac indicates that printer is offline. It is connected by cable to computer. Can not print. Have gone through the entire setup for LAN connection, both wireless and wired. Using macOS 10.12.3 Sierra. Checked cable and wireless password. Do I have to download and install a new driver for Sierra? Canon compatibility chart shows that MX922 should be fully compatible with all recent Mac OS's.

Problem frixted. Canon Printer Support had me delete printer then add. Now prints OK using wireless. But not on wired. Likely bad cable. Big thanx to George at Technical Support.
