    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi tucker8594,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To try&amp;nbsp;and get the ink to print, please remove the&amp;nbsp;black ink cartridge from the unit and ensure that no tape is left on the bottom of the ink cartridge, then reseat it in the printer. &amp;nbsp;Once this has been done, please perform a print head alignment on the unit by following the steps shown &lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/infocenter/index?page=content&amp;amp;id=ART138080" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;, and a print head cleaning on the unit by following the steps shown &lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/infocenter/index?page=content&amp;amp;id=ART141910" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; to see if this will help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Should you continue to experience difficulty, we ask that you please contact a Canon technical support representative at one of the methods provided &lt;A href="http://Canon.us/ContactLI" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; for further assistance.
