I'm pulling my hair out! (At least what little I have left.)

My Pixma MX860 started having issues printing from the PGBK black cartridge. The test pattern was broken and after subsequent cleanings, it stopped printing at all. I assumed the printhead was just really stopped up so I took it out and tried cleaning it it with water. No improvement, so I ordered an new printhead.

Installed the new printhead and a new PGBK ink cartridge. Did a pattern check and it was broken like the old one. After that first pattern check it too falied to print at all. All the other colors and the small BK print fine with both the old printhead and the new one.

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate with the printer attatched via the USB cable.

HELP!!!
