If you select the box at the junction of the "L" (its an icon of a computer screen) you get the capabitlity to adjust all your settings. Select Scan Settings.

I have a Canon MG2220 All in One Printer with Windows 7 and IE11. Everytime i scan something it is scanned as a PDF document. Is that the only way a scan will save. If I scan a picture post card can I scan or save it as a JPEG?

I use the Canon Quick Menu and the "Scan placed photos or documents with automatic detection" option. Should I choose the first option "Open the scan settings screen to change the settings" ?
