I wonder if anyone can help please?

For many months I have successfully used my MG7150 with a slow 3GHz Pentium 4. Everything worked really well although 'My Image Garden' was sluggish so I decided to join the new Electric Age and acquired a brilliant Dell i5.

I can scan using the PC utility and print too. The connection is via a wireless router and nothing has been changed but I now find that

"My Image Garden' is taking 5-10 minutes to even register the folder it was last left looking at, and

pressing the scan option on the printer flashes up "Set the PC to start scanning"!

I have switched off the original PC for the purpose of the experiment because it wasn't clear how one sets the default recipient PC.

Has anyone got any ideas, please? All guidance will be very gratefully received!

OK Thanks for that.

I'm not looking for 'support' just some guidance regarding the strange anomalies which did not manifest themselves with a primitive PC.

I thought this was a forum to enable me to get some views from others. Perhaps you could send me a link to the "UK Forum"?
