    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi hsage16,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In order to scan from the operation panel of the printer, you will need to have the MP Navigator scanning program installed on your Mac. &amp;nbsp;This program can be downloaded from the Canon USA website &lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/support-inkjet-printer/mx-series/pixma-mx410/pixma-mx410#drivers_downloads_tab?cm_mmc=CF-_-Printer-_-Support-_-CITS" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; from the SOFTWARE section. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Should you continue to experience difficulty after installing the program, we ask that you please contact a Canon technical support representative at one of the methods provided &lt;A href="http://Canon.us/ContactLI" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; for further assistance. &amp;nbsp;A representative will be happy to assist you free of charge.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm attempting to scan a document on a Canon MX410 printer and transfer the document to my macbook pro, but the set up process is not cooperating. I can't seem to get past the "PC scan standby" page.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
