Hi ramrajah,

There is not a way to reduce the start up noise of the printer; however, there is a Quiet Mode on the printer that can be set to reduce the operating noises of the printer when certain functions are being performed. Information on setting the Quiet Mode of the printer can be viewed here.

In general leaving a printer on all the time results in fewer cleaning/calibration startup cycles so should rfeduce some noise.
