How to print in black & white from Canon G3000

Can someone teach me how to print a color document in black and white from Canon G3000 printer?

I have a new G3200 printer and I assume your G3000 would be similar.

Easy solution if it is. On the controls on the top of the printer go to the start section and select Black.

It is not helping me. Unable to print black and white after trying so many times.
