    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi lawtom1119,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Support code 5101 indicates that the print head carriage is unable to move.&amp;nbsp; On new printers, there is an orange block that prevents the carriage from moving during transit.&amp;nbsp; That orange block needs to be removed, and can be found under an access panel to the right front of the platen glass.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This didn't answer your question or issue?       <title>MX 922  New printer.  Code 5101</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Brand new printer.&amp;nbsp; Followed all the directions directly as given.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Instead of booting to the 'Languages' menu,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Code 5101 and it says "remove the protective material if it is attached to the holder.&amp;nbsp; Turn Power off and back on."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've done this.&amp;nbsp; Verified the little orange holder (shown on the LCD screen) is seatined too.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rebooted, disconnected power cord, etc. many times, cannot get anywhere with this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What should I do?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
