topic TS6050 doesn't always print in Desktop Inkjet Printers

I have just purchased a TS6050. I can print from my Macbook, but I also use a work Windows laptop at home. I have installed the driver on the Windows laptop and I have managed to get two documents printed, but it took several attempts to get them. A third document I want to print just won't print. It seems somewhat erratic.

I get an eror message saying 'printer not responding'. But the two prints I got were after seeing this message and just waiting. The third print just doesn't happen.

On the printer's screen I don't see the message about processing data, so presumably there is just no connection now.

Any ideas as to what may be causing this?

Thanks.
