topic Selphy 910 - Print 4:3 photos in Desktop Inkjet Printers

Hi everyone,

I just gave a Selphy 910 as a present to a girl friend who doesn't know very much about informatics. She has an iPhone and want to print her 4:3 photos. After connecting her iPhone via Direct Print (just easy and fantastic) she discovered that all the photos have been cut in order to adapt them to the 2:3 format on the longer side instead to put some white margins and adapt them to the shorter side !

If this situation could be solved by printing through USB/SD I find just shocking that a device designed for mobile printing (and then Direct Printing is THE main way to use it) has not an "adapt to 2:3" tool integrated into the printer settings. o.O

So the question is: is there any work-around on the iPhone (setting, apps...) to put some thick borders on a 4:3 in order to be printed in the 2:3 format with the Selphy 910 ? It will be easier for her to have a work-around just on the mobile...

Thank you in advance for your advices!! 🙂
