topic Canon MG7720 DVD print woes in Desktop Inkjet Printers

I have not been able to print on a dvd since updating to Mac 10.12 Sierra. Have all latest drivers, etc. installed. Working through "My Image Garden" I can create a dvd label and go through all of the steps but it will pull the dvd in, whir a bit (just enough to give me hope), then eject the dvd as if it has been printed... but it is the same as it went in. I see a "Filter error" message when I look at the printer app.

I am hoping someone can help! Thank you!
