I have a MG6120 Printer and it has been going well for several years.

There are some lines now on the prints that I can not get rid of. I started from cleaning nozzoles and went on to Deep cleaning 2 times already. There is no difference in print outs.

Is this printer done? Should I just get a new one? Can it be fixed easily? I am pretty handy if I need to unscrew the whole thing I would but I need some direction on where to look.

Thanks

Have you seen this happen on Plain paper that got resolved by just switching papers?

In my experience this type of issue occurs when print head gets clogged or does not function correctly. I have been printing for over a decade on Inkjets and always used the cheapest possible paper and never has something print like this that was not resolved by Deep cleaning.

Now in this case Deep cleaning also did not help (and that is why I posted my question here) as I think the printer is just old and I have been using aftermarket ink since day one.

Anyway, I solved my problem by buying the new MG7522. I am extremely happy with my purchase. As always Canon makes the BEST inkjet printers hands down.

Regards

--Superman
