Will my Canon PIXMA MG2920 need both ink cartridges to begin the installment process ?

I just ordered my printer a week ago and got the black ink for it after it refused to connect to my wifi because it kept asking for ink. I just placed the black ink but no color one yet.. do i need bothe to proceed installation ?

Hi israelrodriguez,

The PIXMA MG2920 requires that both ink cartridges are installed in order to use the unit. This precaution is in place to prevent potential damage that could occur if printing is performed without ink.

Once both ink cartridges are installed in your PIXMA MG2920, you will be able to connect it to your wireless network.
