That worked to get it turned back on, but it still came up with an error message regarding the ink tank - error message 5B00. It didn't solve that and I couldn't find anything to help. So we bought a new printer. Thank you for taking the time to help me out!

My printer was rest by my daughter because it was not printing, however after reset it turned off and we can't get it to turn back on. I have checked all the connections, outlets, and cords to make sure that they are connected and in working order. When we plug in the USB to the laptop it does not recognize the printer and I don't see it in our Device Manager. Is there a way to fix this? We are running Windows 7 on the laptop. Thank you for any help!
