Canon MX922 lower printer tray won't release to fill (had a similar problem with my MP620, but never figured out the solution before I had to replace with the MX922). After much 'pulling,' it finally would come out after about 6 tries; then it would be okay for about the next 3 times I had to change paper; then I'd have the problem again. I do a lot of projects where I need to change from plain to photo paper, and I dread when I have to change the paper! It's gotten to the point where the paper slider has broken off; and although it is now 'loose' I can replace it to hold the paper once it's in there! But trying to get the tray out really takes some arm muscles! Otherwise, the printer is great....love the photo quality.

Hello.

Make sure that the printer is on a flat, level surface. If the unit is on an uneven surface this may cause difficulties with how the paper tray is loaded.
