The paper feed was always tricky but now the paper won't go in the last quarter inch. Looking at it underneath it seems to be prevented by a spring loaded white mechanism which looks as if it is meant to be there - I don't like to force it shut (if that is possible) without knowing why it is stopping the paper or what it is for.
