My dear old HP959C has died after only 15 years of use, so I've recently bought a Canon Pixma MG5750. I would've preferred a stand-alone printer, as I have Canon 5600F scanner which has given sterling service for at least six years. I've installed the 5750 via USB (it wouldn't play on wi-fi) - it scans and prints fine (have yet to find a "save as" function) but it seems to have disabled/superseded the 5600F, which now produces blank images. Driver conflict? - I've updated its drivers, no cure. Yes the 5750 has a scanner, but the 5600 and its routines are far superior in my view. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.
