My mg-3522 has stopped responding. Two lights on the device are lit up when it's plugged in:

1) the light beside the power button

2) the light beside the "4 x 6 photo paper" button

Other than that, it's completely unresponsive and can not be recognized by the computer. I've tried a LAN connection as well as a WIFI connection. Holding the power button, WIFI button, or the stop button for an extended period of time does nothing.

I've tried deleting the drivers and updating them, but I can never get past the "please connect the printer" screen.

Has anyone else encountered this? I emailed customer support, but I believe they are closed for the weekend. I was hoping to have this resolved while on my time off.

Thanks!

Hi newmailrandy,

I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer and let it sit for 60 seconds. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer.

Did this answer your question?
