Set up on a MG5750 printer

I am trying to set up my new MG5750 printer and I can't get past - Acquiring information on latest driver and software Please wait..

this has been going on for a couple of hour now. I have downloaded from online and by using the CD provided with the printer

I get to the same stage using both then nothing.

Please any advise?
