when I try to copy a page, half of it shows up black. the same with the scan. This began after I installe windows 10. has the printer just died. The print funtion seems to work fine

If you have already verified that the copy and scan settings are set for 8.5 x11 or Letter size paper and are still experiencing the same issue, the printer may require servicing. If the printer needs service, it is probably not worth servicing as I have had it for about 3 years and paid less than $100.00 I went through the settings and they appear to be correct for letter size. Thanks you for your help
