      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi oldfaithful79,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To try and get the ink to print, you will want to ensure that all tape has been removed from the ink tanks as shown &lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/infocenter/index?page=content&amp;amp;id=ART137156" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;. &amp;nbsp;Once this has been verified, please print a nozzle check pattern from the printer by following the steps located &lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/infocenter/index?page=content&amp;amp;id=ART137625" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; to see if all of the inkjet nozzles are dispensing the ink correctly. &amp;nbsp;If they are not, we recommend&amp;nbsp;performing at least one cleaning and two deep cleanings on the printer by following the steps located &lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/infocenter/index?page=content&amp;amp;id=ART137815" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; to try and get the ink to print. &amp;nbsp;If the inks still do not print, we&amp;nbsp;ask that you please call 1-866-261-9362, Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. ET (excluding holidays) for further assistance. &amp;nbsp;A Canon technical support representative will be happy to help. &amp;nbsp;There is no charge for this call.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
