topic scan fails on MG3650 in Desktop Inkjet Printers

Hi all,

Bought a MG3650 today, it prints wirelessly just fine, but frequently when I try to scan using the IJ Scan utility it starts by saying "scanner is warming up... Do not open Document cover" then regularly fails with an error stating "An error has occurred. Turn the device off and then back on. Scanner Driver will be closed. Code:2,250,200"

Not very helpful in determining WHAT has caused the failure.

It is intermittent - I just tried to scan 5 pages into a single file and it managed page 1 and 2, then failed on page 3.

I'm running Windows 10 x64, and downloaded the media to instlal the device from the web (assuming therefore the latest software is present?)

Can anyone shed any light?

Thanks in advance
