I dropped my Canon MG8120 and the lid and a few parts exploded all over the place. I manager to hook back up the ribbon cables and wires that communicate with the lid interface and it boots up with no errors but I cannot install the lid until I find where this spring goes and I think it has something to do with the counter balance for the weight of the lid. The spring does not have hooks and it's pretty heavy-duty, I think it has something to do with counter-balancing the lid, I just can't seem to find where it goes. Also, a plastic cover of some sort that I can't find a spot for, it's unbroken and seems to have hinge pins. A picture of both items can be seen here: http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa245/Christopher379/DSC_1976.jpg

I spent $20 on a service manual with illustrations but it did no good! Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thanks!
