Canon Pixma MX439 keeps saying its offline and won't print anything. Please help!!

My Canon Pixma MX439 printer was working alright last week. I didn't use it since. But when I went to print some things yesterday, it wouldn't print. It keeps saying its offline. Also, I don't seem to have a program to run the printer itself. Only to choose "print" from programs like Open Office, Paint, etc. Not sure why its was working fine, then won't work now. I have Windows 7(desktop computer) and the printer is connected by usb. If you could please help me to be able to print again, I would really appreciate it.

I have a program for the scan part "Navigator" and that works but only to scan images. But can't get something to print from programs already on my computer.

Actually, I got it to work by going into the printer & unchecking "use offline" or "use printer offline". Can't seem to find where it was located now though.
