The issue was the paper. I was using 2 different kinds of Kodak paper and when I switched to the other one, the photo printed correctly.

Hi,

I have the above printer on Windows Vista and I was printing photos just fine until one day I was not.

The photo prints and the ink is not clear at all, it almost looks like an old fashioned negative and the ink does not dry. I left one sit for 20 minutes and I was still able to smear the ink all over. Also, after that long the photo seemed to change colors until you could barely see the image. You almost see the dots of ink on the photo paper.

I've run all the tests on the printer including the Nozzle Check Pattern and it looks good.

I've confirmed that I have the correct ink and paper installed.

I've done the cleanings, and adjustments

Still the photo comes out, barely recognizable and wet.

I've just spent 3 hours reviewing the knowledge base looking for an article and attempting all sorts of things from articles, to no avail.

Can anyone advise?

see the smear, it never dries... in a few minutes it will fade...

Here is the nozzle and head checks

Any ideas would be great!

Thank you

Christine
