      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Coriander,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Canon IJ Scan Utility will allow you to scan in a variety of fomats.&amp;nbsp; The method of opening IJ Scan Utility will depend on which version of Windows or Macintosh you have, but a simple search should be enough.&amp;nbsp; Once you have it open:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Press the "Settings" button in the lower right of the window.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Select "Document Scan" from the left menu.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Choose your preferred data format under "Save Settings."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4.&amp;nbsp; Press "OK."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5.&amp;nbsp; Press "Document."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The "Settings" button also allows you to choose a save location, resolution, and other settings.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This didn't answer your question or issue?
