How do I set up the Fax portion of the Pixma MX490 when I have Cable Internet phone service.

I just purchases a MX490 printer, scanner, fax. I have cable internet phone service and so far have been unable to set up the fax portion of the new purchase. My contact to the internet provider was only able to tell me that it does support fax service. I have gone over the manual directions several times to no avail.

Any help or ideas?

I simply need to know how to change the fax from "fax only". Can't figure the screen out. Please hurry....... my family & friends are tired of getting a fax tone.
