topic My Canon Pixma 5350 is giving error code C000 in Desktop Inkjet Printers

Almost every time I try to print something this error comes up. It advises to turn the printer off and on again but this only clears the error for one more print command. I'm using genuine Canon cartridges. Any ideas? It's driving me nuts.
