how to set pc to scan pics to

trying to scan pictures to my pc on my mg5520 wirelss printer and it tells me to set pc. what is that?

Hi joekathy1,

Are you able to scan using the IJ Scan Utility? To do this, please follow these steps:

1. Place your item face down on the scan glass.

2. Click on Start and then All Programs, Canon Utilities, IJ Scan Utility and then click on IJ Scan Utility to start the IJ Scan Utility.

3. Click the Settings... button in the lower right hand corner.

4. Click Photo Scan on the left hand side of the Settings window.

5. Set the paper size, resolution, etc as desired.

6. Note the selection in the Save In box. This is where your file will be saved. You may change this to a folder of your choice.

7. Once set, click OK at the bottom.

8. Click the Photo button.
