Pixma MX472 won't turn on

I've unplugged my MX472, then plugged it back in many times. I've also tried other power outlets in my house.

The power button will flash once, sometimes twice, then turns off.

Then the orange lightning bolt light turns on, and stays on as long as the printer is plugged in. It doesn't flash or anything, just stays on.

I bought this printer 7-9 months ago brand new.

Try unplugging the printer and pushing the power (on) button 5-10 times while it's unplugged. Then make sure to plug it directly into a wall jack, not into a power strip or something.

If that doesn't work I would call their tech support. You should still be under warranty.

I called Canon and they are sending me a new printer.
The lady I spoke with said she'd never heard of something like this before. Thank goodness it was still under warranty!
