    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi ppmitra,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The 5,156,69 error is usually an indication that security software is blocking communication between your PIXMA MG2520 and your computer. &amp;nbsp;Please temporarily disable your firewall and anti virus programs and attempt to scan again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the error persists,&amp;nbsp;please contact our support group using the following link:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/contact_us_consumer" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/contact_us_consumer&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>MG2520 Scanner not working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a Dell Inspiron 3048 running Windows 8.1 with which I have a Canon MG2520 connected. Its printer and copying function are working fine, and the printer is connected to the computer. And yet, I cannot make the thing scan. I have reinstalled the driver multiple times, from the CD that came with it, as well from canon's website, but Canon IJ Scan continues to claim that:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Scanner is turned off&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. USB Cable is disconnected&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Code: 5,156,69&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I turned off my firewall, and I have no antivrus software running. But the scanner is still not working.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
