Reducing ink usage when printing black and white text

It appears that my colored ink seems to go down even when I am printing black and white text. How can I print in black and white only? MX920 printer.

Hello.

In some cases, web-based items or PDF files may be printed using composite blacks, or combinations of the color inks. To help limit the amount of color ink used, try using the grayscale option in the print driver.
