    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi btwolfe,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To attempt to resolve the 5100 error, please follow these steps:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Please unplug the power cord from your PIXMA MG3520 and leave it off for approximately 10 seconds.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. After 10 minutes, please reconnect the power cord and turn your PIXMA MG3520 on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does the 5100 error persist?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the 5100 error stil appears,&amp;nbsp;please contact our support group using the following link:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/contact_us_consumer" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/contact_us_consumer&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>I have a canon MG3500 got error 5100</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;got error 5100 on my MG3500 printer.&amp;nbsp; cleared the paper jam, reset the cartridges, searched high and low for another problem.&amp;nbsp; cant fint one.&amp;nbsp; still get the error 5100.... how do I clear this error.... I &lt;EM&gt;&lt;U&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;refuse&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/EM&gt; to pay the maintenance fee just for a paper jam.(that would mean obvious gouging due to normal printer operation)..&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; why were the printers of 30 years ago so superior to the crap made today?&amp;nbsp; &lt;STRONG&gt;could it be so canon can charge us for ink at a higher price than gold?&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;\&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
