Canon MX340 printer jams paper when doing print head alignment printing

Hello,

I have a canon mx340 printer and i recently got a paper jam and since then all print outs are blurry. So, I tried using the print head alignment process, but everytime I do this, the paper jams again in between the process and the alignment print never completes. Other prints complete but are blurry.. please help !
