    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I have a Pixma MX882 multifunction printer/scanner that would allow me to load a document in the scanner, press the scan button on the device, and it would save the file to my computer (running Windows 7).&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I recently purchased a new computer running Windows 8.1.&amp;nbsp; I downloaded from Canon's website all the necessary drivers.&amp;nbsp; The Canon IJ Network Scanner Selector EX is loaded and the box Scan-From-Operations-Panel-Settings is checked.&amp;nbsp; However, when I press the scan button, I receive the message: "Set the PC to Start Scanning."&amp;nbsp; I can scan documents from the Canon MP Navigator 4.1 software.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I want to be able to scan from the scanner to the printer.&amp;nbsp; Does anyone have any solutions?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Thanks.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>You probably have the scanner set to either Local USB or your old computer.
