    <description>Have you tried deleting the instance of the printer/scanner from System Preferences, unplugging the USB cable, then plugging it back in? If you have the printer driver installed and the printer is on, it should add it back automatically.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My MP460 printer is now recognized as "scanner" by my Mac (System 10.6.8) after I recently scanned some documents and now when i want to print, my Mac&amp;nbsp; doesn't recognize the printer, only a scanner device, and returns a message "Printer offline" and I don't know how to remedy this situation so I get my printer back!&amp;nbsp; Help!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
