topic Disable printer's color management in Desktop Inkjet Printers

Adobe Photoshop CC is instructing me to "disable the printer's color management in the print settings dialogue box."

- I am printing on a Canon MX920 series

- I am using a OSX 10.9.4

Is this even possible on this model of printer? If so, am I supposed to scroll through the menu on the printer itself? Or is this setting located on my Mac under System Preferences > Printers & Scanners? (Or somewhere else perhaps?)

This is driving me nuts because what I am printing does not match my laptop's screen. I am trying to print turqoise and it is turning out blue.

Thanks in advance.
