    <description>&lt;P&gt;MG5420 printer is responding, but does not print. It give an error message but it does not have an error code. When I press the home button on the printer, the home screen does not appear. Only 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3 appear.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi EC,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please turn off the printer, unplug the power cord and leave it out for at least 10 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it back on. &amp;nbsp;If you still receive an error, please let us know the exact text of the error. &amp;nbsp;If you still only see the &lt;SPAN&gt;1/3, 2/3 and 3/3 display when pressing the HOME button, the printer will require servicing. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;Please call or email us at one of the methods on the &lt;A href="http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/contact_us_consumer" target="_blank"&gt;Contact Us&lt;/A&gt; page to obtain your servicing options.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
