Using a Canon PIXMA MP160. No problems with printing on paper. However, printing #10 envelopes produces smudges quite consistently. I've run Cleaning; Bottom Plate Cleaning; and Roller Cleaning. No problems encountered and the paper came out clean and printed properly during those tests. I have not run 'Deep Cleaning' because it seems to refer to clogged nozzles.

Thanks!

Hi DaveCun,

Moving the paper thickness lever on the printer to the right position when printing envelopes (see depiction below) should resolve the issue you are experiencing. Be sure to return the paper thickness lever to the left position after printing the envelopes to ensure that you don't experience smearing when printing on plain paper.

Hope this helps!

This didn't answer your question or issue?
