    <description>&lt;P&gt;printer displays 6A81 error as soon as it is turned on.&amp;nbsp; have checked several times to make sure there are no paper jams, foreign objects/debris, blown interior out w. compressed air, checked/cleaned&amp;nbsp; purge unit pads/wipers, and checked to make sure pads depress and wipers move back and forth.&amp;nbsp; also&amp;nbsp; tried various online fixes (turn printer off for several minutes, hold down various combinations of control panel buttons and turn back on, etc.) w/o success. when the scanning cover is opened, the print head moves to the left only half way &amp;nbsp; to its normal position for replacing ink cartridges and the cartridge lights do not come on.&amp;nbsp; however it is easy to move the printhead manually all the way right to its normal purge postion or to the left away from the purge position.&amp;nbsp; any help in solving this problem is appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
