How to network a Pixma 510 Scanner function

Hi, I have a Pixma 510 print/scan/copy. it would be really useful to network the scanner function .

Very small home office of 3 users all W7 Pro, print networks through a Thomson gateway USB port successfully.

As we have a lot of docs to scan it would be useful to network the scan function as well. can't find any way to do it?
