    <description>&lt;P&gt;I just got a new Mac and cannot figure out how to set up scanning. &amp;nbsp;I am using MP Navigator EX to scan and it does not recognize the scanner. &amp;nbsp;Wireless printing is working just fine though. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the Printers/Scanners tab, it shows the Canon MX710, but hangs there when I try to scan from that application.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am pretty sure it is an "order of installation of drivers" thing, but I can't seem to figure this out. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any assistance is appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I found the solution:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the MP Navigator MX software, click on preferences and in the Product Name drop down, selecting 'MX710 series Network', rather than 'MX710 series'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
