New Canon ip8700 - prints blank pages! College Student on a deadline here! D:

I have been trying set up my new Canon ip8700 for hours now and now that I've finally got it set up it wont print anything other than blank pages. I've taken the plastic off the cartridges properly, I've tried to choose different paper settings, all the red lights are on the cartridges and the ink of course is full because its new.

Someone please help... this is so frustrating.

What operating system? Windows , MAC)

What drivers are you using?

Finally got it set up?

How, what steps did you follow, and what happened when you did them?

What troubleshooting have you performed?
