NEW PIXMA IX 6820 REFUSING TO PRINT ON POSTCARD STOCK

I'd like to scream

I had two of these that ran for about 18 months on average before throwing errors, that couldn't be fxed

Now the new one, purchased in April, refuses to print on postcard stock and I've a job in midstream.

I'm about to toss it out the window and go buy an epson.

I've not had a problem printing postcards before. Is this some sort of "enhancement" by Canon?

Any suggestions will be apreciated.
