topic Canon MF4350d: COPY started to scan documents very slowly - 20 seconds a page. What to do? in Desktop Inkjet Printers

We have Canon MF4350d. Bought it approximately 5 years ago. The COPY function of theprinter was pretty fast in the past. Recently, COPY started to scan documents very slowly - 20 seconds a page. I wonder what may be causing this? I've installed the most recent printer upgrade. Could it be that the electric motor is now working slow or the rubber band has weakened?

I tried checking the settings but could not find anything realetd to this issue. When I print from the computer - it's really fast, but with the computer switched off and using the COPY function it's as slow as scanning!

Any help is highly appreciated! Thanks.

Regards,

George
